By overturning Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has sent decisions about abortion back to the people of each state. I urge all citizens to respect our Constitution, the legislative process, judicial independence, and the rule of law. We should promote life by supporting American families, caring for the sick and elderly, and working together to effectively reduce abortions. Education, counseling, and birth control should be easily accessible for all women and we must work to make adoption easier and less expensive. This is why I am concerned that Ann Kuster teamed up with Sen. Warren on the SAD act. Abortion should not be her only answer for women in crises.
We need new ideas and policies and increased support of pregnancy centers and women in crisis so that we can help those women and families in tough situations. Together, let’s grow and nurture a culture of life.
